Basic Life Support (BLS) provider course:

BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. The BLS instructor-led course teaches both single rescuer and team basic life support skills with a focus on high quality CPR.

BLS Course Objectives:

  • Describe the importance of high-quality CPR
  • Describe and apply all the steps of chain of survival
  • Recognize the signs of someone needing CPR.
  • Perform high quality CPR for an adult, child and infant.
  • Use of AED
  • Provide effective ventilation by using a barrier device.
  • Describe the techniques for relief of foreign body obstruction for adult, child and infant.

Course requirements:

  • Registration and payment to be done 3 weeks prior to the course.
  • Candidates will receive e-books prior the course..
  • Every participant should have a valid email id on the day of the course for online registration.
  • BLS Provider Cards will be issued to the candidate who have successfully completed the theory and skills test with the score of 84%.

Elements of Basic Life Support provider course:

  • Duration of Training – 1 day
  • Batch Strength – 30 participants
  • Training Methodology – It is a video assisted course which will be taught by using mannequins, training videos and case scenarios
  • Method of evaluation – Pre-test, Post-test and practical exam.
