ACLS is designed for health care provider who participates in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardio-vascular emergencies.

BLS Course Objectives:
Describe the importance of high-quality CPR
Describe and apply all the steps of chain of survival
Recognize the signs of someone needing CPR.
Perform high quality CPR for an adult, child and infant.
Use of AED
Provide effective ventilation by using a barrier device.
Describe the techniques for relief of foreign body obstruction for adult, child and infant.
Course requirements:
Registration and payment to be done 2 week prior to the course.
Candidate can receive the provider manual from TNAI Headquarters of Central Institute of Nursing.
Every participant should have a valid email id on the day of the course for online registration.
BLS Provider Cards will be issued to the candidate who have successfully completed the theory and skills test with the score of 84%.
Elements of Basic Life Support provider course:
Duration of Training – 1 day
Batch Strength – 30 participants
Training Methodology – It is a video assisted course which will be taught by using mannequins, training videos and case scenarios
Method of evaluation – Pre-test, Post-test and practical exam.
